Caddis Larvae

Caddis Larvae

Why Nymphs?

Well because nymphs are everywhere and guess what, nymphs make up the majority of a trout’s diet – a vast majority. It’s been said 90 percent of the time trout feed below the water’s surface on aquatic insects, adding other tasty morsels such as crayfish and other smaller fish as they get bigger.

Next Up – Fly Tying Channel by Fly Fishing Reporter

To make it easier and faster for you to view our fly tying video collection we are in the process of creating a new site dedicated entirely to fly tying videos called the Fly Tying Channel that will debut next week. The Fly Tying Channel is packed with cool features, the best of which is the ability to easily organize and search the video collection to find just what you are interested in.

To get a taste of what the Fly Tying Channel will look like check out our Nymph Fly Tying Video Gallery here on Fly Fishing Reporter and stay tuned.
