    Hi Jan (wtrw001),

No problem,, I used adult seals fur as I find it very good for both pupa and adult caddis patterns because it has a nice translucent and crisp fibre, not everyone’s favourite as it can be a pain to dub on…

    All the best Davie

    Hi Davie,
great video and tying again and again. Could you tell me what dubbing you are using in this video. I am sorry to ask, but I couldn’t understand it, I am not a native English speaker. Thanks a lot. Best regards Jan

Davie, thanks so much for your really detailed, informative, clear and concise youtube videos instructing first timers like me how to tie flies. You make the process so uncomplicated and accessible to all. I love the process of fly tying, and it’s especially satisfying to hook up on fish using flies I have tied under your instruction. Keep up the excellent work, it is much appreciated! One question; Do you have a stickleback imitation? Thanks again and hope all is well in Bonnie Scotland!

    Davie,
I have rented every fly fishing and tying DVD that Block Buster and Net flix carries
plus a few I purchased or borrowed. You are heads and shoulders above 99% of them.
None have the close up quality and great instructions that you provide.

You, Davy Wotton, Oliver Edwards and Michael Chan should have your own TV channel,
now that would be great fun!

I landed several nice brownies with this fly in Colorado last month, Thanks for that!
