Hi Jan (wtrw001),

No problem,, I used adult seals fur as I find it very good for both pupa and adult caddis patterns because it has a nice translucent and crisp fibre, not everyone’s favourite as it can be a pain to dub on…

Bonnie Scotland is a wee bit wet and windy just now….I do have a nice pattern it’s a smaller version of the fry pattern I have just uploaded a couple of days ago, I will be filming the tying some time in the future..

I have rented every fly fishing and tying DVD that Block Buster and Net flix carries
plus a few I purchased or borrowed. You are heads and shoulders above 99% of them.
None have the close up quality and great instructions that you provide.

You, Davy Wotton, Oliver Edwards and Michael Chan should have your own TV channel,
now that would be great fun!

plus a few I purchased or borrowed. You are heads and shoulders above 99% of them.
None have the close up quality, great instructions or skills that you demonstrate.

I’m glad you liked the fly, the material I used is Adult Seals Fur I like it especially for my dries and emerger caddis patterns, I bought it from a company called Tackle and Tying you will find it on the internet. If he hasn’t got it on his site e-mail him and say that you saw it on my videos…

I hope one day to put some Dvds together but I’ll need to put a lot more effort into them before I feel I could sell them, hopefully sooner than later..
