Tips of the week:
Fish tandem nymph rigs and dry-dropper rigs. Streamers are also effective, especially when the water is a bit stained.

Best Techniques:
Fish tandem nymph rigs with a mayfly nymph, like a Micro Mayfly or BLM, trailing behind a larger stonefly nymph. Fish a dry-dropper rig in the afternoon with a big stonefly adult on top and a BLM or Copper John below.

7 day forecast:
The Gunnison River is fishing great. Green Drakes and PMDs are now hatching on the Gunnison. Caddis are hatching in the afternoons/evenings. This is some of the best dry fly action of the year.
