[Video] How to Roll Cast (the right way)

After fly fishing for 30 years I thought I pretty much knew how to roll cast. Boy was I wrong. I think I just learned more about rolling casting in this 5 minute and 10 second video short from 'Casts that Catch Fish' than in my 30 years flailing about on the water. I'm going to have to have a serious talk with my Dad about the instruction I received as a youth.
Learn How To Fly Cast
"Casts that Catch Fish" reportedly* will present eight slack-line presentations, five fundamental casting rules, and the roll cast in a fresh, innovative and entertaining manner. Filmmaker Carl McNeil and his wife, Jeannie Ackley, are trying to breath new life into the instructional genre by combining high-quality production values, high-end graphics, and cutting-edge editing techniques. As Carl puts it, "We felt it was important to say less and show more."
"Casts that Catch Fish", created by One the Fly Productions, is an hour-long DVD and is due to be released in November 2010.
Now go practice your roll cast - the right way!
