Hans Stephenson of Dakota Angler & Outfitter demonstrates how to tie a Hunchback Scud, a Michael McLellan fly pattern, in this fly tying video. The Hunchback Scud features an excellent profile and is weighted enough to get down deep. The Hunchback Scud is pretty easy to tie, once you get that little lead wedge secured.

Hey thanks a lot, your videos are easy to tie to!!!
I like a 14,might try a 16.
I use bigger scuds than some folks. My go to sizes are 12′s and 14′s.
What size hook do you prefer?
