As fly fishers we have always had a wanderlust for new waters and at this time of the year the craving is at its peak. Our need for chrome has “forced” us to head north to the great waters of the Umpqua River and Rogue River. That’s right, OREGON! Between February 2nd and March 17th. It has been worth the effort, working hard at mapping routes and finding the key stretches to make for a great day of angling.
We’d like to spice it all up with an introductory season offer on a place to stay. Sierra Fly Fisher is setting up base camp in Shady Cove where we welcome our guests at a ridiculously low rate of $50.00 per night at our four-bedroom house. This rate applies per party as well. In other words, you and a friend come up? It’s still $50.00. Regular guide rates apply ½ day $275.00; full day $400.00 1 or 2 people, so the value for our friends is remarkable.
We recommend flying into Medford where you can either rent a car or we can arrange for a pickup.
Spots are filling up, so please call and get the low down!
